Wanderoft Partner Agreement
Version v1-2026-10-29
Last updated: October 29, 2026
You built something people come back for. Wanderoft's job is to bring you more of them: locals finding you for the first time, visitors who would never have walked down your street. We only get paid when a member actually walks through your door. This agreement is between your business ("you") and Wanderoft LLC, a Georgia company ("Wanderoft," "we," "us"). We wrote it to be read. If anything is unclear, write to hello@wanderoft.com.
1. Accepting this agreement
You accept this agreement when you tick the box and submit your business in Wanderoft for Business (business.wanderoft.com). By doing that, you confirm you are authorized to sign up the business and to connect its bank account. If you own more than one business, each one accepts this agreement on its own.
2. What Wanderoft does for you
- We list your business in the Wanderoft app and on our map, and promote you to members: locals and visitors who have joined Wanderoft and connected a card.
- We may also feature you on wanderoft.com, in our social posts, in our newsletter and in printed materials like our brochure. Where and how often is our call.
- Wanderoft runs its own rewards program for members, at its own cost and on its own terms.
- No visit, no fee. No monthly charge, no setup cost. You pay a marketing fee only for qualifying visits.
3. Joining and review
- Your details. Tell us your business name, locations, hours, category, photos and story, and every name your business uses on card statements. The more accurate your statement names, the more visits we match.
- Business bank account. Connect a business checking account through Stripe. Personal accounts are not accepted, because the debit rules that protect consumers work differently.
- The $1 bank check. When you submit, we debit $1 once to make sure your bank accepts our debits. It comes back as a $1 credit on your first statement. If we do not approve your business, we refund it.
- Review. We review every business by hand and aim to reply within 7 days. We may decline a business for any lawful reason, and we will tell you why where we can.
- Going live. Members see your Wanderoft cash back only after we have confirmed your locations can be matched. Until then, your page can show without it.
4. Your Wanderoft rate and promotion
- Your Wanderoft rate is the percentage of member spend you pay us for each qualifying visit. You choose it in Wanderoft for Business, starting at 8%.
- Your promotion settings: the days and hours it runs (different for each day if you like), any minimum spend or cap per visit, whether it counts once per member per day, and an optional perk you give members yourself.
- How we promote you. Wanderoft decides what members earn under its own rewards program. Today, we promote partners with cash back of up to their Wanderoft rate less 3 points (a 13% rate is promoted as up to 10% back). We may change how we promote partners. Your rate only changes when you change it.
- Changes wait 14 days. When you change your rate or promotion, or pause it, the change takes effect 14 days after you save it, and members see it coming in the app. Members choose you because of what they saw, and this keeps that promise. You can cancel a change before it starts. Turning your promotion back on after a pause takes effect right away.
- Printed brochures come first. If you appear in a printed brochure, the cash back and perk printed there stay on for that run's dates, as our Marketplace Terms explain.
- Talking about Wanderoft. Please describe cash back as Wanderoft's ("Wanderoft members earn cash back here"). Please do not present it as your own discount or tell guests you pay for it.
5. What counts as a qualifying visit
- A purchase at one of your listed locations, made by a member with a connected card, while your promotion is running and its conditions are met.
- Where you have turned it on and your page says so, a booking made directly with you (on your own website or booking system) also counts. Bookings through resellers never count.
- Member spend is the total charged to the member's card for that purchase, as their bank reports it, including tax and tip. If you would rather not pay on tips, choose a slightly lower Wanderoft rate.
- Purchases by you, your owners, or your staff at your own business never count.
6. The fee
For every qualifying visit by a Wanderoft member, you pay Wanderoft a performance marketing fee equal to your Wanderoft rate times the member spend. The fee is Wanderoft's when we charge it. Wanderoft runs its member rewards program at its own cost and decides what members earn. Nothing you pay is held for any member, owed to any member, or passed through to any member.
Example: a member's card is charged $100 at your shop. With a 13% Wanderoft rate, your fee is $13.
7. Your weekly statement
- Every Monday morning we email a statement for the visits in the week before: each visit, the member spend, your fee, any credits, and the total.
- No visits, no debit.
- Refunds. If a member's purchase is refunded after we charged you for it, you get a credit for that visit on your next statement.
- Questions about a visit. Tell us within 30 days of the statement. If we agree a visit was not genuine, we credit it on your next statement.
- Taxes. Our fee does not include any sales tax. If a tax ever applies to it, we will show it on your statement.
8. Bank debit authorization
You authorize Wanderoft LLC to debit the business bank account you connected in Wanderoft for Business, each week, for the total on that week's statement. That total is your Wanderoft marketing fee (your Wanderoft rate times what members spent on the week's qualifying visits) less any credits, plus any amount from an earlier statement that was not collected. If there were no visits, there is no debit. We email the statement on Monday morning and debit the account that afternoon. If we change the day we debit, we will tell you at least 7 days before. If a debit is returned for a reason that allows a retry (like insufficient funds), we try once more 3 business days later. This authorization stays in place until you revoke it by writing to hello@wanderoft.com or by connecting a different account, at least 3 business days before the next debit. Revoking it does not cancel fees for visits we already sent you. You accept the same authorization on Stripe's secure page when you connect your bank, and Stripe keeps the record of it.
9. If a debit does not go through
- We email you, and your business is paused: it disappears from the app and new visits do not count while it is paused.
- Once the amount is paid, your business comes back right away.
- Members who visited before the pause are still rewarded by Wanderoft, on time. The fee for those visits stays due, and we may collect it by a later debit or by other lawful means.
10. Members and their information
- You see combined totals for your own business only, and only once enough members are behind a number that no one can be picked out. You never see a member's name, email, card or other purchases.
- Please do not try to identify members from what we show you, or ask staff to collect member details for Wanderoft.
- Treat Wanderoft members like any other guest. Do not charge them more or serve them differently because they are members.
- Perks are your own gift to members. Honor them while the app shows them, and make sure your staff know what the member pass looks like.
11. Perk partners
Some businesses joined Wanderoft before cash back existed and offer members a perk only. If that is you:
- You pay no fee. You keep your perk running while the app shows it.
- Your perk carried over from wanderoft.com runs until October 27, 2027, unless you change it sooner.
- You can claim your page in Wanderoft for Business, see how members find you, and turn on cash back whenever you are ready. Your perk keeps running while you set it up and while we review it. The day cash back switches on, it takes the place of your perk.
- Once cash back is on, every other part of this agreement applies.
12. Your listing and your brand
- You give Wanderoft a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to show your business name, logo, photos, story, hours, locations and promotion in the app, on our website, in our social posts and newsletter, and in printed materials, while you are a partner. Printed materials already distributed, and posts already published, may stay up after you leave.
- You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.
- Keep your details accurate, especially your hours, locations and statement names.
- Your name and logo stay yours. The Wanderoft name and the yellow hare stay ours. Use them only as we provide them, without changing their colors or shape.
13. Buying extra marketing
Packages, Wanderoft Reels, brochure spots and bespoke campaigns in Grow with us are covered by our Marketplace Terms (legal.wanderoft.com/business/marketplace-terms), which form part of this agreement for anything you buy there. Nothing you buy changes your Wanderoft rate, and your rate never depends on buying anything.
14. Leaving, pausing and ending
- You can leave any time by writing to hello@wanderoft.com. Your listing comes off the app 14 days after you tell us, the same as a pause, so members who chose you see it coming. Visits until then are billed as usual, and your final statement covers them.
- We may pause or end your listing right away if a debit fails, if we see visits that are not genuine, if a member is put at risk, or if you break this agreement. Otherwise, we give you 14 days' notice. We will tell you why.
- Sections 6 to 9, 12 and 15 to 19 continue after this agreement ends, for anything owed or done before it ended.
15. Confidentiality
We each keep the other's non-public business information (statements, insights, pricing and member totals) private, and use it only for this partnership, unless the law requires otherwise.
16. Responsibility
- You are responsible for your goods, services, prices, premises, staff, licenses, taxes and the way you treat guests.
- You will cover Wanderoft's reasonable costs if a claim against Wanderoft arises from your goods or services, your premises, the content you uploaded, or your breaking the law or this agreement.
- Wanderoft provides its service as it is. We do not promise a number of visits, members, sales or results, or that every purchase will be matched.
- To the fullest extent the law allows, neither of us is responsible to the other for indirect or consequential losses or lost profits, and Wanderoft's total responsibility under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to fees you owe us or to your obligation in the second bullet.
17. Disputes
Talk to us first: write to hello@wanderoft.com, and we will try to resolve it within 60 days. If we cannot, either of us may bring a claim in small claims court, or otherwise in the state or federal courts located in Chatham County, Georgia. Georgia law governs this agreement.
18. Changes to this agreement
If we change this agreement, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. A fee change never applies to visits before it. If you do not want the change, you can leave as section 14 explains.
19. General
We are independent businesses. Nothing here makes either of us the other's partner in law, agent, employee or joint venturer. This agreement, our Marketplace Terms and the settings you choose in Wanderoft for Business are the whole agreement. If part of it cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. You may not transfer it without our consent. We may transfer it if Wanderoft is sold or merged. Notices to you go to the email on your account. Notices to us go to hello@wanderoft.com.
